I am so confused…
First of all, I am proud to say that I got my “I Voted” sticker today. However, I am totally confused as I watch the results coming out on TV. Granted right now in Colorado, only about 5-10% of precincts are reporting. However, in general the Democrat candidates (narrowly) are winning yet EVERY liberal referendum/amendment is losing (somewhat widely).
So, first impressions have me totally confused. As Coloradoans we want a Democrat governor and Democrat representatives in congress this time around (clearly wining at this point), yet we want NONE of the liberal legislation on the ballot (domestic partnerships, marijuana possession, education spending, etc.) to pass. Does this seem out of whack to anyone but me?? Clearly something is not making sense here. I think… well, actually, I don’t know what the hell to think. I’ll report back later this week on the final results and the impact on us Coloradoans.
